What people ask before booking a detail.
How much does a full detail cost in Colorado Springs?+
At our N Nevada shop a full detail — inside and out — starts at $229 for the Silver on a car and runs to $579 for the Platinum Detail on a van. The most-booked package is the Gold Detail at $299 on a car, $329 mid-size, $349 full-size, $379 van. Interior-only is $199 and up, and a VIP Hand Wash is a flat $89 on anything. The calculator above gives your exact number.
Why does my truck cost more than a car?+
Because it is more vehicle. A full-size crew cab has roughly twice the carpet, glass and panel area of a sedan, plus a third row or a bed to deal with. Charging both the same rate means the car owner subsidises the truck owner. Four sizes, four honest prices. The VIP Hand Wash and Platinum Exterior are the exceptions — both are flat rate whatever you drive.
Can you get dog hair out of my back seat?+
Yes. Mild pet hair is covered inside the $199 Full Interior Detail. Heavy shedding — a husky, a shepherd, anything that leaves hair woven into the carpet fibres — is what the Pet Hair & Enzyme Bundle at $269 exists for: multi-pass hair lift plus a full enzyme odor treatment plus the interior detail, all in one price. If you book the interior detail and the hair turns out to be heavy, that gets billed separately, so the bundle is usually the cheaper route.
Will the Odor Bomb get smoke smell out?+
The enzyme treatment breaks odor molecules down rather than masking them, and an hour in a sealed cabin reaches the headliner, the vents and the foam under the seats where the smell actually lives. It is $175 standalone or $50 added to any detailing package. One thing to be straight about: it removes the smell, it does not clean the car. Smoke residue on the glass and headliner is a cleaning job, so heavy cases want an interior detail alongside it.
Are my headlights worth restoring or should I replace them?+
Restore them, almost always. The lens is polycarbonate with a factory UV coating; when that coating fails the plastic oxidises and goes yellow and cloudy. At $99.99 for the pair we remove the failed layer rather than polish over it, refine the surface and re-seal it — against a pair of replacement housings that often runs into several hundred dollars fitted. It also puts your actual light output back, which matters more than how it looks.
Is polishing the same as detailing?+
No, and this is the single most common mix-up. Detailing cleans and protects. Polishing removes defects from the clear coat with a machine and an abrasive, and it is a separate service in three levels — $399, $599 and $899. The Platinum Exterior and Platinum Detail include a light single-stage pass that improves gloss and takes the edge off haze, but paint with real swirling needs the dedicated correction. We look at it under direct light and tell you which one it is.
Do I need to pay a deposit, and how long will it take?+
No deposit. Every package on this page is same day — roughly an hour for a VIP Hand Wash, most of a working day for a Platinum Detail on a full-size truck. You get a real drop-off and pick-up window when you book, you look at the finished vehicle under the shop lights, and you pay then.
Do you take trucks, work vehicles and fleet?+
Trucks and work vehicles are most of what comes through — Tacomas, F-150s, Silverados, Wranglers, 4Runners and Broncos. The multi-vehicle discount is 10%, and for anything bigger than a couple of vehicles call and we will price the run properly rather than stacking single bookings.
