Pet hair is barbed and static. It weaves into carpet loops and cloth instead of sitting on top.
Dog and cat hair has tiny barbs along it, and it builds static against synthetic carpet and cloth. Each time the dog moves, it works deeper into the weave. A vacuum pulls the loose hair off the top and leaves the rest.
Removal takes several passes with rubber tools and brushes that pull the hair out of the fibres before extraction.
The smell is not the hair — it is oils and organic residue in the fabric. The enzyme treatment breaks that residue down rather than masking it with fragrance.
It reaches the places the smell actually lives: seat foam, carpet padding and the headliner.
If there is a light layer of hair, the $199 Full Interior Detail covers it. If hair is woven into the carpet and there is a smell, the $269 bundle is cheaper than paying for heavy hair and odour on top of a full interior.
