Short answer

How much does boat ceramic coating cost in Colorado Springs?

A 3-year marine ceramic starts at $1,200, a 5-year at $2,200 and our 9-year Ultimate at $3,200. Boat length, hull material and gel coat condition set the final price, which is confirmed after inspection. Decontamination and correction are included.

  • 5-year$2,200+
  • 9-year$3,200+

Pick how long. Every price is a real starting number.

A 20-foot maintained boat and a 30-foot heavily oxidised one are not the same job, so the final number is confirmed after we see it.

Why coat a boat

The water and the sun work on a hull together.

A marine coating is built for constant water contact and UV, which is a harder life than a car’s paint.

What does a ceramic coating do for a boat?

It bonds to the gel coat and gives it a hard, hydrophobic, UV-resistant surface. Water sheets off, scum and mineral deposits do not bond as easily, and the gloss holds through the season instead of fading by August.

The biggest day-to-day difference is cleaning: a coated hull rinses and wipes clean where an uncoated one needs scrubbing.

Why does the gel coat have to be corrected first?

A coating is clear. Whatever is on the gel coat when it goes on stays there, chalk included. That is why every term starts with decontamination and correction, and why the longer terms include more of it.

It is also why pricing is confirmed after inspection — a heavily oxidised hull needs more correction than a new one.

Which term should I pick?

Pick by how the boat lives. A newer boat that is trailered and covered does well on the 3-year. A wake boat that is out every weekend is who the 5-year is for. The 9-year Ultimate is for high-value and show boats where the finish is the point.

Storage matters as much as use: a boat kept covered or indoors between outings holds a coating longer.

Gtechniq Accredited Installer

Not just trained. Accredited.

17+ years · professionally trained · Gtechniq accredited

Gtechniq accredits installers because a coating depends on inspection, decontamination, correction and application technique — not just what is in the bottle. That standard applies to every hull we coat.

Marine coatings need the same prep discipline as automotive ones, on a surface that takes more abuse.

Seventeen-plus years of professional detailing. Reading a surface before touching it is the part of the job that experience buys, and it decides every step after it.

Correction first

Every term starts with decontamination and correction. Coating over oxidised gel coat locks the dullness in.

Where we work

Boat ceramic coating across El Paso County.

Boats come into the shop on the trailer, or we come to the slip, the storage lot or the driveway.

Boat detailing, marine detailing, hull cleaning and gel coat oxidation removal cover the same work: a hull that sits in water and sun, a waterline that collects scum, and an interior that takes sunscreen, spills and damp. We work on wake and ski boats, bowriders, pontoons and fishing boats.

Front Range boating is high-altitude boating. The sun is harder on gel coat and vinyl at elevation, and a season on Lake Pueblo, Rampart or a mountain reservoir shows up as chalky hull sides and faded seats.

Tell us the length, the hull and where the boat is, and send a few photos. You get a real starting number before anything is booked.
