Gtechniq · RV coating
A rig parked outside takes months of sun between trips. Gtechniq ceramic coating on corrected gel coat and paint keeps the gloss, makes washing faster and gives the surface UV protection wax cannot match for long.
Short answer
It is quoted after inspection. Surface area and how much correction the gel coat needs move the price more than anything else, and a Class A with chalky sides is a different job from a new travel trailer. Send the length, the type and a few photos and you get a real number.
What is included
There is no off-the-shelf RV coating package, because there is no off-the-shelf RV.

A car is in the sun a few hours a day. An RV parked between trips is in it all day, for months.
More sense than on a car. An RV stored between trips takes continuous direct sun for months, so gel coat oxidation and fade happen faster. A properly bonded coating gives that surface protection that wax, which wears off in weeks, does not.
It also makes washing a large surface much faster, because dirt and streaks do not bond as easily.

No. Coating over oxidised gel coat locks the dullness in permanently. Correction happens first on every job, to the same standard we apply to automotive ceramic coating.
That is also why the price is quoted: a rig that needs heavy correction first is a bigger job than one that only needs a light polish.

Surface area, roof material and access. A Class A motorhome has many times the panel area of a sedan, roofs are often rubber or fibreglass rather than painted metal, and ladders, awnings and hardware add edges to work around.
Smaller rigs can come into the shop; big ones are done on site.

Gel coat, fibreglass and painted aluminium oxidise faster at altitude, and an RV spends months parked in the sun. The correction and coating standard Gtechniq accreditation requires is the one applied to every rig.
RVs are a surface-area problem. The process is the same one we use on paint, scaled up.

Seventeen-plus years of professional detailing. Reading a surface before touching it is the part of the job that experience buys, and it decides every step after it.
In the shop at 2725 N Nevada Ave when it fits through the door; otherwise we bring the equipment to your driveway, storage lot or slip.
Coating or sealing over chalky gel coat locks the dullness in. Oxidation comes off first, on every job.

Where we work
RVs are worked on at 2725 N Nevada Ave when they fit, and on site when they do not.
RV detailing, motorhome detailing, camper cleaning and RV oxidation removal are all the same trade: a very large gel coat or painted surface, a roof that takes the worst of the weather, and an interior that has to be reset between trips. We work on Class A, B and C motorhomes, fifth-wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers and camper vans.
Colorado is hard on an RV in a specific way. At 6,035 feet the UV load is higher than at sea level, and a rig stored outside between trips takes that sun for months. Oxidation shows up as chalk on your hand.
Tell us the length, the type and where it is parked, and send a few photos. You get a real starting number before anything is booked.
