Oxidation removal · polishing
Chalky, dull, weathered paint does not have to stay that way. Oxidation removed and the skin machine-polished back to a clean, even finish — ready for wax, or for a Gtechniq coating.
Short answer
A wash and spray wax starts at $499 for paint in good condition; oxidation removal and polish starts at $800 for dull or chalky paint; and a Gtechniq ceramic coating after correction starts at $2,000. Aircraft category and paint condition set the final number.

Starting prices. Larger aircraft and heavier oxidation move the number, confirmed after inspection.

Starting estimates from aircraft category, scope and condition. Access, hangar versus ramp and the exact finish move the final number after inspection. Ceramic coating ($2,000+) and brightwork are scoped separately.

Aircraft parked outside oxidise from UV at altitude, day after day.
UV breaks down the paint’s surface, and an aircraft on a ramp at Colorado Springs’ elevation takes a lot of it. The finish dulls, then chalks.
Polishing removes the oxidised layer and brings back an even finish.

With the right pads, compounds and pressure, yes. Aircraft paint systems and composites are treated as what they are, not as automotive clear coat.
Belly, gear areas and leading edges get their own attention.

If you want it to stay corrected, yes. A Gtechniq coating over corrected skin slows oxidation and makes washing easier. Coating starts at $2,000 with correction prep included.
Otherwise, wash and spray wax on a schedule keeps it looking right.

A single-engine piston and a large-cabin jet are both a major asset. The failure mode on an aircraft is not a swirl mark — it is the wrong chemical or pad on a composite panel. Aircraft-safe products and methods only, from the same accredited crew.
Aircraft skins, composites and polished metal are not automotive clear coat. They are treated differently.

Seventeen-plus years of professional detailing. Reading a surface before touching it is the part of the job that experience buys, and it decides every step after it.
Aircraft are detailed where they sit — hangars and FBO ramps at Colorado Springs Airport and nearby fields, when the facility clears us in.
Paint systems, composites, windows and polished metal each get products made for them. Nothing automotive goes on an aircraft surface by default.

Where we work
Aircraft work is done on site, at the hangar or on the ramp.
Aircraft detailing covers cabin cleaning, exterior washing, oxidation removal and polishing, brightwork, de-ice boots and Gtechniq ceramic coating for single-engine pistons, twins, turboprops and business jets.
We work at Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS) hangars and FBO ramps, and nearby fields, when access is cleared by the facility. Tell us who clears us in when you book — that is usually the longest lead time on the job.
Send the aircraft type, where it sits and what it needs. You get a real starting number before anything is scheduled.
