Why coat an aircraft

UV, altitude and wash cycles.

Unprotected aircraft paint breaks down fast. A coating slows that down.

What does a coating do for an aircraft?

It gives the corrected skin a hard, hydrophobic layer that slows oxidation from UV, sheds water and contamination, and makes each wash faster.

Bugs and exhaust residue release more easily from a coated surface.

Why is correction included?

A coating locks in whatever is under it. Coating over oxidised paint preserves the dullness. Correction is part of every coating job, which is why it is in the price.

It is also why the price is scoped after inspection.

Gtechniq Accredited Installer

Not just trained. Accredited.

17+ years · professionally trained · Gtechniq accredited

Gtechniq accredits installers because a coating depends on inspection, decontamination, correction and application technique. That standard applies to every aircraft we coat.

Aircraft coatings need the same prep discipline as automotive ones, on a surface that matters more.
