Short answer

How much does a vinyl wrap cost in Colorado Springs?

It is a custom quote. Vehicle size, the grade of vinyl and how much of the vehicle is covered — full wrap, partial or a chrome delete — all change the number, so there is no flat rate that fits every project. Send photos and the vehicle, and we scope it fast.

Why install quality matters

A wrap is only as good as the install under it.

Stretched vinyl lifts at the edges within months. Paint that is not decontaminated traps grime under the film. Both are avoidable.

Heat-formed, not stretched

Every edge, curve and recess is heat-formed into place with a heat gun so the vinyl conforms to the body line instead of pulling taut. Stretched vinyl wants to return to its flat shape, and that is what lifts at the edges later.

Trim, badges and lights come off where it makes sense so the vinyl wraps behind them rather than being cut around them.

Does a wrap damage the paint?

No. A properly installed and properly removed wrap protects the factory clear coat from UV and road wear, and comes off cleanly when it is time to sell or change the look.

The paint needs to be sound to begin with. Wrapping over peeling clear coat or a respray that never cured properly is the one case where removal can take paint with it — we check first.

Do I need paint correction first?

If the paint has visible swirls, haze or contamination, yes. Vinyl follows the surface underneath — it does not hide defects the way people expect it to.

Unwrapped panels can be ceramic coated, so the whole vehicle is easy to keep clean.

Years in the trade

Seventeen-plus years of professional detailing. Reading a surface before touching it is the part of the job that experience buys, and it decides every step after it.

Decontaminated first

Vinyl and film bond to clean paint, not to grime. Every wrap and film job starts with a full decontamination wash.

Heat-formed, not stretched

Edges, curves and recesses are heat-formed into place so the material follows the body line instead of pulling taut and lifting later.

You know who is working on it

A local, family-run shop — Dana Starr, his two sons and a crew he has worked with for years. Licensed, insured and bonded. The same people quote the job and do the job.

Where we work

Vinyl wraps across El Paso County.

Done in the shop at 2725 N Nevada Ave. Customers drive in from across the county.

ST6 North Nevada is the in-shop location: detailing, paint correction, Gtechniq ceramic coating, 3M paint protection film, window tint and vinyl, all under one roof in controlled light.

At 6,035 feet the sun is harder on paint, plastics and leather than at sea level, and winter leaves magnesium chloride and sand on everything. Most of what we fix is Colorado doing what Colorado does.

Vinyl wrap questions

The things people actually ask.

Answered straight. If yours is not here, call the shop and ask.

01How much does a vinyl wrap cost in Colorado Springs?

It is a custom quote. Vehicle size, vinyl grade and coverage — full, partial or chrome delete — all change the price. Send photos and the vehicle for a real number.

02Does a wrap damage the factory paint?

No. A properly installed and removed wrap protects the paint from UV and is fully reversible, provided the paint underneath is sound to begin with.

03Do I need paint correction before a wrap?

If the paint has visible swirls, haze or contamination, we recommend correcting it first. Vinyl follows the surface underneath.

04How long does a vinyl wrap last?

Quality vinyl installed with proper prep and heat-forming holds up for years of daily driving. Longevity depends on the vinyl grade, garage versus outdoor storage and how it is washed.

05Can I wrap just part of the car?

Yes. Hood, roof, mirrors, an accent section or a chrome delete on its own are all common.
