Detailing questions · North Nevada
North Nevada
detailing FAQ.
How long does a detail take?
Most details take 2 to 4 hours, so you can drop off in the morning and drive home the same day. A Full Interior Detail runs 2 to 3 hours, Gold 3 to 4 hours and Platinum Detail 4 to 6 hours. The 3-Year and 5-Year ceramic coatings take 1 day, and Crystal Serum Ultra takes 2 days.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Next-day service is available. Book online, pick an open time and you are on the schedule. You can also book further out if a specific day works better. For an emergency, text (719) 517-7220.
Can I book online, and is there a deposit?
Yes. Choose your vehicle, your package and a time, and you are booked in about a minute. There is no deposit. You pay when the work is done and you have looked it over.
What is included in a full detail?
Our most-booked full detail is the Gold Detail ($299 on a car or crossover, about 3 to 4 hours). Outside: foam and two-bucket hand wash, wheels and tires, clay bar, then a machine-applied 6-month sealant. Inside: full vacuum, dash, vents and console deep-cleaned, leather and vinyl conditioning, carpet and upholstery spot shampoo and interior glass. Trucks, SUVs and vans are priced by size.
How much is a full interior detail?
A Full Interior Detail is $199 on a car or crossover and takes about 2 to 3 hours. It includes a full vacuum, stain pre-treatment with carpet and upholstery extraction, deep cleaning of the dash, vents, console and door panels, leather cleaning and conditioning, a headliner spot treatment and interior glass. Mild pet hair is included; heavy pet hair is billed separately. Trucks, SUVs and vans are priced by size.
Can you get smoke or pet odor out of my car?
Yes. Our Odor Bomb is an enzyme treatment, not an air freshener. It runs through the sealed cabin and the vents for about an hour and breaks down smoke, pet, food, spilled-milk and mildew smells where they live: the headliner, carpet padding and seat foam. It is $175 on its own, or just $75 more when you add it to a $199 Full Interior Detail ($274 total) for a dirty interior that also smells. For heavy shedders, the Pet Hair & Enzyme Bundle is $269 and covers the full interior detail, heavy pet hair removal and the odor treatment.
Can you remove stains from car seats and carpet?
Most food, drink, mud and everyday stains come out with the stain pre-treatment and extraction in the Full Interior Detail ($199 on a car or crossover). Old, set-in stains like ink or dye transfer may lighten rather than disappear completely.
Do you do paint polishing or buffing?
Yes. Machine polishing is what paint correction is. Platinum Exterior ($349) and Platinum Detail ($499) include a lite paint correction, a light machine polish that brings back gloss and softens light swirls. For real swirl and scratch removal, full paint correction runs from $399 for a 1-step to $899 for a multi-step correction. We also restore cloudy, yellowed headlights; ask for headlight restoration when you book.
How much does auto detailing cost at North Nevada?

Mostly trucks and family SUVs. A new Tacoma, an F-150 or a Grand Cherokee is what usually comes through the doors. We do the exotics too, with the same process.

Yes. Motorcycles can come into the shop. RVs and boats are usually done at your home or storage lot by our mobile units, which carry their own water and power. Call us to set up the right location.
