01 / Before repair
We inspect the actual damage.
We look at the size, location, depth and condition of the break, including any lines extending from it. Tell us when you noticed the impact, whether it has changed and whether any repair product has already been applied. Those details help us understand the glass we are assessing.
A photograph can support an initial conversation. It does not show every part of the break or replace the in-shop inspection. You do not need to diagnose the damage yourself or know the name of the chip before coming in.
If the damage is suitable for repair, we explain that option and the likely appearance. If it is beyond repair, windshield replacement is separately quoted. The chip-repair price and approximate duration apply to repair work, not replacement.
02 / Repair limitations
Size alone does not decide the answer.
A small-looking chip is not automatically a repair candidate. Damage near an edge, in the driver’s viewing area or close to a camera housing needs particular assessment. The condition of the glass and the extent of the break also matter.
Tell us if moisture, dirt or a previous repair product may have entered the damage. Do not assume either that an old chip cannot be repaired or that a fresh one definitely can. Inspection is the basis for the decision.

Chip repair treats suitable damage in the existing windshield using professional equipment and repair resin. The purpose is to stabilize the damaged area and help prevent further spreading. It does not mean replacing the glass or making every trace of the impact disappear.
A faint mark can remain after repair. We explain the likely appearance before the work so you can distinguish the repair objective from an invisible cosmetic result. The condition and pattern of your own break affect that conversation.

A straightforward in-shop visit.
The first chip is $60 and each additional chip is $10. An eligible repair takes about 30 minutes while you wait in our lobby. That is the repair duration, not a guaranteed total visit time for every arrival.
Come to 2725 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. We are open Monday through Saturday, 6am–8pm, and Sunday, 8am–6pm. Walk-ins are welcome. There is no required booking form, deposit or hour’s notice for chip repair.
