Interiors are cleaned in an order for a reason. Everything dry comes out first, hard surfaces are steamed before anything gets wet underneath them, and glass is always last.
STEP 01 / DRY PASS & PET HAIR
Mats out, seats moved through their full travel, crevice tool down the rails, under the seats and into the cargo area. Embedded pet hair is pulled out with rubber tooling and stiff brushes before any moisture goes near it — wet hair welds itself into carpet fibre and becomes a far bigger job.

What to expect
We arrive in a self-contained unit with our own filtered water, power and lighting — including the extractor, which is the piece most mobile detailers cannot run off a customer’s outlet. Doors are left open to dry properly, and we will tell you honestly how long the carpets need before you load the car back up.

Real ST6 work, same car, same seat. Debris out of the seams and seat base, fabric extracted rather than surface-wiped — vacuuming alone only moves what is in the fibre.
Alcantara & soft trim
Alcantara is not suede and it is not leather. It is a microfibre roughly 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane, made by Alcantara S.p.A. in Terni, Italy — and the close relatives you will find in a German or Italian cabin, Race-Tex and Dinamica, behave much the same way. What they all share is a raised nap, and the nap is the whole point of the material.
Body oil is what kills it. It collects at the wear points — steering wheel, seat bolsters, shift surround, door pulls — mats the fibres down in one direction and leaves that hard, shiny, greasy-looking patch you cannot wipe off. Once it is polished flat by hand traffic, cleaning it is only half the job; the nap has to be lifted back up so the panel dries to one uniform texture instead of a patchwork.
Included in the Full Interior Detail at no extra charge. Badly matted or stained Alcantara — a shiny steering wheel, a dye-transferred headliner, an old spill — is assessed first and quoted honestly, because there is a point past which the nap does not come back and we would rather say so than take your money.

Gtechniq interior protection
A deep clean resets the cabin. Protection is what decides how it looks a year from now. ST6 is a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer, so we can install the interior line on the same visit — matched to the material, because the product that is right for a dashboard is the wrong product for Alcantara.

Ask when you book and we will price it with the detail. Durability figures above are Gtechniq’s own published figures and assume the interior is cleaned normally afterwards; nothing here is permanent and we will not tell you otherwise.

Straight answers
Two to three hours for a car or crossover. Larger vehicles, heavy soiling and embedded pet hair run longer, and we will tell you the realistic window when you book rather than quote a time we cannot keep.
Hot-water extraction. Solution goes into the carpet and is pulled straight back out with the dissolved soil, instead of being scrubbed in and left to dry. It is the difference between a carpet that looks clean today and one that still looks clean in six months.
Yes, and it is done first — dry, before any moisture is introduced. Embedded hair in heavily used vehicles takes real extra time, so send photos when you book and we will quote it honestly rather than rushing it on the day.
Cleaning the source removes most of it, because odor lives in the fibre and the headliner, not in the air. For anything stubborn, add the Odor Bomb at $50 — an enclosed treatment that reaches the ductwork and headliner a surface clean cannot.
Yes. Alcantara is brushed back to a uniform nap with its own chemistry rather than wiped flat, and perforated leather is cleaned with controlled moisture so nothing is driven through the holes into the seat foam.
Cloth carpets and upholstery are usually dry within a few hours with the doors open and airflow through the cabin. We will tell you honestly on the day — if it is a cold, damp morning we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.

Yes. ST6 is a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer, so we can install Gtechniq’s interior line on the same visit — I1 Smart Fabric for cloth, carpet and Alcantara, L1 Leather Guard for leather and vinyl, and C6 Matte Dash for the dashboard and trim. Each is matched to the material; C6 is not used on suede or Alcantara, which is what I1 is for. Protection is quoted per vehicle after we see the materials and their condition, and it goes on after the deep clean, never over dirt.
