New car ceramic coating in Colorado Springs — protect it before the first wash.

New paint is only new once. Decontamination, full machine correction and a Gtechniq ceramic coating, done while the clear coat is still untouched — which is the one window where protection costs less than repair. Three coating terms, correction included in all of them, and every price on this page before you call anyone.

Ceramic coating

from $899correction included

3-Year Gtechniq EXO v5 from $899, 5-Year Crystal Serum Light from $1,099, and the 9-Year Crystal Serum Ultra package at $1,599 with C5 Wheel Armour and G1 ClearVision Smart Glass bundled in. Full machine correction across the whole vehicle is inside every tier, not an upsell afterwards.

  • Correction included — in all three coating tiers
  • Gtechniq Accredited — Crystal Serum Ultra is installer-only
  • 3, 5 or 9 years — pick the term, not a mystery package
  • Wheels and glass — bundled free on the 9-Year
  • $0 deposit — pay after the work is done

Works the same for a car you just bought used — a low-mileage purchase gets the correction it needs first, then the same coating. Licensed, insured and bonded, in-shop at 1627 S Nevada Ave Suite 120.

Gtechniq Accredited Detailer

Accreditation is the reason we can install the 9-year system at all.

Ceramic coating is a category full of badges a shop prints for itself. This is not one of those. Gtechniq accredits installers on prep, correction and application standards, and it is what gives us access to the systems that are never sold to the public — Crystal Serum Ultra among them. ST6 is El Paso County’s only Gtechniq-accredited detailer.

Why a new car needs correction

A new car is not a perfect car.

Nobody at the dealership says this, but the car reached you on a rail car and a transporter, sat on a lot, and then went through a prep wash before handover. Each of those leaves something behind. Under direct light in the shop it is obvious — and it is all still shallow enough to remove cleanly, which stops being true once it has been through a season of automatic washes.

This is the argument for doing it now rather than at the first service. Correction on a two-week-old car is light work. Correction on a two-year-old car that has been through a tunnel wash every fortnight is a different job at a different price.

What you are actually buying.Correction makes it flat. The coating is what keeps it that way.

Ceramic coating packages

Three coating terms, one honest difference between them.

The difference is the coating system and how long it lasts — not how much of the car gets done. Full machine correction across the entire vehicle is in all three, so you are choosing a term, not choosing whether the paint gets fixed properly first.

The process

Four stages, in the only order that works.

Coating is the last step, never the first. Everything before it exists so that what gets sealed under the ceramic is paint you actually want locked in for the next nine years.

STEP 01 / INSPECTION & PAINT READING

We Read the Paint Before We Touch It

Paint depth gauge and direct light first, because a new car is not a blank sheet. Factory clear varies panel to panel, and we need to know what is there before anything abrasive goes near it. This is also where transport damage gets found — the marks that arrived with the car rather than ones you put there, which is worth documenting while the car is still days old.

Finds: Transport marks · dealer wash swirls · thin panels · touch-up

New car interior protection

The easiest interior we ever protect is one nothing has spilled on yet.

Leather, Alcantara and cloth all take stains far more readily than owners expect, and the first coffee is always a surprise. Applied to factory-clean surfaces, Gtechniq’s interior line is doing prevention rather than rescue — which is both cheaper and considerably more effective than treating a seat that has already absorbed something.

Interior protection is quoted after we see the materials rather than sold at a flat rate — a full-leather cabin, a cloth one and an Alcantara-heavy sports interior are three different jobs. C6 is not used on suede, nubuck or fibrous surfaces; I1 is what those take.

VIP Maintenance Plan

A coating does not maintain itself — and the wash is what kills them.

Nine years is what the chemistry is capable of, not a promise that survives a tunnel wash every fortnight. Spinning brushes and high-pH soap are exactly what a coating is bought to avoid, and a coated car washed badly stops beading long before the coating is technically worn out. Every plan visit is a pH-neutral two-bucket hand wash with non-acidic wheel cleaner and coating-safe drying aids — the upkeep the coating was designed around.

1 visit a month

Monthly

Keep it on top of itself

  • One coating-safe maintenance wash a month
  • pH-neutral two-bucket hand wash
  • Non-acidic wheel cleaner, safe on factory and aftermarket finishes
  • Glass, door jambs and coating-safe drying aids

$89 / monthBest for: A coated car that lives in a garage and does normal miles.

2 visits a month

Bi-Weekly

The one most coated cars want

  • Two coating-safe maintenance washes a month
  • Everything in the Monthly plan
  • Fortnightly cadence — contaminants never get time to bond
  • Saves $19 a month against booking the two washes separately

$159 / monthBest for: Daily drivers, cars parked outside, and anyone doing winter road salt.

2 visits + topper

VIP

Nothing left for you to book

  • Two coating-safe maintenance washes a month
  • Interior upkeep at every visit — vacuum, wipe-down, glass
  • The $199 six-month Gtechniq ceramic topper rolled in
  • Priority scheduling ahead of one-off bookings

$279 / monthBest for: Exotics, show cars, and owners who would rather never think about it.

Not ready for a plan? The Ceramic Coating Maintenance visit is $199 on its own, recommended every six months — exterior reload hand wash, a mini exterior detail, and a fresh Gtechniq ceramic topper to renew hydrophobic performance and gloss between full coating terms. It is the same service that is bundled into the VIP plan above.

Booking a coating today? Start the plan the week it leaves the shop — that is the point where a coated car either stays perfect or quietly stops being one.

Timing

The best day to book this is the day you pick it up.

Not because anything is wrong with a three-month-old car, but because every wash between delivery and coating adds correction work that you are then paying to undo. Coating is a multi-day service, so plan the drop-off rather than hoping for a same-day slot.

Straight answers

New car protection questions before you book.

How much does it cost to ceramic coat a new car in Colorado Springs?

Three tiers, and every one of them includes full paint correction across the entire vehicle rather than charging for it separately: the 3-Year Gtechniq EXO v5 from $899, the 5-Year Crystal Serum Light from $1,099, and the 9-Year Crystal Serum Ultra at $1,599 as a package. Starting prices are for a standard sedan or coupe — larger vehicles are quoted after inspection. The builder above adds it up with whatever else you want done at the same time.

My car is brand new. Does it really need paint correction?

Usually yes, and usually only a little. A new car arrives by rail and by truck, sits on a lot, and then gets a dealer prep wash before handover — and that prep wash is where most new-car swirls actually come from. Under direct light you will see them. It is light work compared to a neglected car, and since correction is already included in every coating tier, it costs you nothing extra to have it done properly before the coating goes on.

Should I have it coated before or after the dealership washes it?

Before, if you can manage it. Every automatic wash and every dealer prep wash puts fine marring into soft factory clear, and each one adds a little more correction work later. If you have already had it washed, nothing is lost — correction is included and we take it back out. But the cleanest version of this job is the car coming more or less straight from delivery.

What is the difference between the 3-Year, 5-Year and 9-Year coatings?

The coating system itself. The 3-Year uses Gtechniq EXO v5, the 5-Year uses Crystal Serum Light, and the 9-Year uses Crystal Serum Ultra — which is only sold to accredited installers and cannot be bought off a shelf. The Ultra tier is also a bundle: C5 Wheel Armour is included, a $400 value, along with G1 ClearVision Smart Glass. All three include full correction on the whole car.

Can you coat the wheels and the glass as well?

Yes. Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour is a dedicated wheel and rim coating — it is included with the 9-Year Ultra package, and available as a $300 standalone add-on on the 3-Year or 5-Year. G1 ClearVision Smart Glass is included with the Ultra tier as well. Tell us your wheel count and finish when you book, because a multi-piece or painted wheel is a different amount of work to a standard alloy.

Do you offer a monthly maintenance plan for a coated car?

Yes — three tiers. Monthly is $89 for one coating-safe maintenance wash a month, Bi-Weekly is $159 for two, and VIP is $279 a month for two washes plus interior upkeep at every visit and the six-month Gtechniq ceramic topper rolled in. Every visit uses a pH-neutral two-bucket hand wash and non-acidic wheel cleaner, because the fastest way to ruin a coating is to run it through the kind of wash it was bought to avoid. If you would rather not commit, the six-month Ceramic Coating Maintenance visit is $199 on its own.

Does a ceramic coating still need maintenance?

Yes, and any shop telling you otherwise is setting you up to be disappointed in year two. A coating makes washing dramatically easier and stops contamination bonding — it does not stop the car getting dirty, and it does not survive being run through an automatic wash with harsh chemicals and spinning brushes. Washed properly it keeps performing for its full term. Neglected or washed badly, the hydrophobic behaviour drops off long before the coating is technically worn out.

How long does the car need to stay with you?

Coating is a multi-day service. The correction takes as long as the paint takes, and then the coating has to cure undisturbed rather than going straight back out into Colorado weather. We will give you the real window when we quote it, and valet pickup and return is available if dropping it off is awkward.

What about protecting the interior on a new car?

This is the easiest version of interior protection there is, because nothing has stained yet. Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric on cloth and Alcantara, L1v2 Leather Guard on leather, and C6 Matte Dash on trim — all applied to surfaces that are still factory-clean. It is quoted after we see the materials rather than sold at a flat rate, because a full-leather interior and a cloth one are not the same job.

Ready when you are

Tell us the car and the collection date.

That is enough to quote it and hold a slot. If it is already home, a couple of photos in direct sunlight tell us how much correction it needs before the coating goes on — which is what turns the builder above into a real number.
